Silberline, a supplier of special effect and performance pigments, has formed a global strategic alliance with Taizhu, one of China’s top pearlescent pigment producers. Silberline and Taizhu will engage in joint marketing and technical cooperative programs aimed at visually enhancing the value of worldwide paint and coatings, inks and plastics formulations. Additionally, Silberline will represent and distribute Taizhu’s pearlescent pigments to many of these same customers throughout the world, excluding China.
Taizhu is headquartered in Wenzhou, Jiangsu province. The company employs approximately 500 people and operates several manufacturing plants in and around Wenzhou. Taizhu also recently announced the opening of a new, $1.6 million manufacturing plant and R&D center in Suzhou.
